1) Performing Ecological Surveys, writing Environmental Impact Assessments, producing Management Plans for environmentally sensitive areas etc. This work can be done anywhere in the Channel Islands. We are greatly aided by the assistance of the Scientific Committee of La Société Guernesiaise which provides us with an unique range of highly qualified expertise and local knowledge.
2) Providing species lists from particular places or habitats. If we have no data from a particular area local naturalists can be commissioned to obtain it.
3) Providing maps showing the distribution of organisms, environmental features, SNCIs, nature reserves etc. These can be provided as printed maps or electronically as image files (jpegs) or Arcview map layers in Guernsey grid, Jersey Grid or UTM zone 30N co-ordinates for overlaying on the Digimap maps of the Bailiwicks.
4) Providing photographs and information on local habitats and species for newspaper articles, lectures, books and other publications. Please contact us with your requirements.
5) Education: We provide advice on nature areas, help lead school trips to study the environment, and other services. These are free to schools and funded by the Education Department
