The Guernsey Biological Records Centre was founded in January 2003. It is a partnership between the States of Guernsey, Environment Department and La Société Guernesiaise through its environmental consultancy company Guernsey Environmental Services Ltd. It holds biological data primarily for the Bailiwick of Guernsey, but with some from the Bailiwick of Jersey, the Chausey Islands and the adjacent French coast
